I HAVE ALL THE ORIGINAL SIGNED DOCUMENTATION TO PROVE IT, and it goes with the vehicle. I have for sale a 4X4 1988 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer, Tahoe trim level, MANUAL 5-speed transmission, 2.8 liter V-6 engine. 95,000 original miles.
Mr. Frey owned this vehicle & he used it his ranch in Snowmass, CO near Aspen.
Let's face it, this is a 23 year old vehicle, and as in any non-restored vehicle of this age, it has some issues.
First the good:
It runs great and starts right up every time.
The body is straight with no dents or dings or accidents.
The brakes are good.
The tires are relatively new (off road style)
Just passed CA smog in late Feb. 2011 with flying colors.
New spark plugs and wires.
Now the bad:
A.C. needs work, probably just a relay or clutch switch?
4WD Low range needs a vaccuum switch.
Paint looks 23 years old.
Interior is normal for a 23 year old vehicle.
If you are looking at this ad, you are probably not buying this vehicle because of what kind of vehicle it is, or its condition, you are buying it because it was once owned by Glenn Frey.
So, in the end, this is your pedestrian 1988 Chevy 4X4 S.U.V. in fair condition for its age except it was "celebrity owned".
